Fundamental problem with monotheism

Monotheism is shit and it has been a major cause of problems in our culture and history since its development somewhere in Egypt or the Middle East two-three thousand years ago. The list of issues I have with that form of theology is long, and the list of problems it caused is neverending. The main problem, though, is this —

In monotheism, once the original god (or Demiurge) gets bored, or fed up with its creation, or gets offended with wrong or not sufficient sacrifices, or forgets about its creation, or gets too busy destroying its work, or goes mad with power or thirst for more blood — then there is no recourse. There is nothing true worshipers can do about it and those forced to worship cannot have any hope. Everybody just goes along in an ever-deepening muck of blood and tears and cries.

That is exactly when and where a need for a divine or incarnate being who still cares about humankind and is willing to sacrifice their lives arises. Sadly, there is no place in monotheism for Rama, Krishna or Manu as in ancient India, or for Zoroaster as in ancient Persia, or for Fo-Hi as in ancient China, or for Quetzalcoatl or Viracocha as in ancient Americas, or for Dionysys or Orpheus as in ancien Greece, or for Tuatha De Danann as in ancient Irland, or for Odin as in ancient Scandinavia.

There is no place for a hero and a bringer of vengeance and hope in monotheism. At best, we might get some prophets or incarnations which bring no change and no help to people, and whose words and deeds are twisted into hundreds of mutually incompatible ideas.
