Scandal of creation

In primal promiscuity, at the beginning of the moment when life turned into sentient life, something unspeakable must have happened, which is the reason for the continuous discomfort of human life, and of human reason. There is no other option. There might be a futile explanation that our consciousness makes us aware of the brute forces of our lives, and our consciousness is to blame — but I don't believe it. We have tools for reasoning for a reason, and the fact we don't use those facilities for good is a matter of different discourse. Human sentient existence has been fouled at its source — that is the clearest explanation of the past doom and upcoming fate of human civilization.

That makes me think that a God, no matter what his humanly given name is, had no part in this creation. That god had no hand in the scandal of the creation of vulgar and carnal life and definitely had no hand in the creation of sentience in us. The creation of us, fragile and brutal and ungrateful and greedy and cruel meat bags, but with an added pinch of sentience, is the work of god without scruples and empathy but with way too much insecurity. Pure goodness does not create because of its lack of imagination and it has no need to make something, anything else beyond what is already there and what is good. It takes imagination (twisted and maniacal imagination) to put together a world, no matter how botched or flawed. Considering our world, and our universe, it is altogether easier to trace matters back to a suspect god who wallows in the scandal of creation, than to an honorable one who has no need to be involved in one.
